  • Please bring a copy of any health reports that may help us with your case. This can include, but is not limited to, imagining reports (x-ray, ultrasound, MRI, CT) and blood panels.

    If you are going through extended health insurance, please bring your insurance card.

  • Please wear attire that will give us direct access to the area of complaint. I.e. knee pain - please bring pair of shorts/leggings.

    Generally we suggest you bring a pair of shorts/leggings, and a loose-fitting t-shirt/tank-top to all appointments.

    Feel free to contact us if you have any further reservations or questions regarding attire.

  • Your initial assessment and treatment takes approximately one hour, and follow up visits are either 30 or 45 minutes in length depending on a variety of factors.

  • Yes! Your practitioner will begin the initial appointment going a historical examination in regards to your injury and health history. A physical examination will also be completed, and the root of your dysfunction has been identified. Many times, physical examination and treatment can be intertwined!

  • Yes! We accept all major insurance providers and will directly bill on your behalf. If we are unable to bill your insurance, Sahara Health will provides official invoices and receipts for all of your claiming purposes.

  • Yes! We do direct billing.

    We will submit a claim to the insurance company on behalf of the patient and the patient will not have to pay upfront for the healthcare services received. The insurance company will then review the claim and cover any eligible costs according to the terms of the patient's insurance policy.

    It is always a good idea to check with your healthcare provider about their billing policies and procedures before receiving any healthcare services. This can help you understand what costs you may be responsible for paying and what will be covered by your insurance. It is also a good idea to familiarize yourself with the terms of your insurance policy, including what services are covered and any deductibles or copays that may apply.

  • Every policy is different so you will need to check with your insurance policy. As a service provider, we do not have access to that information.

  • Yes, we accept both WSIB (Worker’s Safety Insurance Board) and MVA (Motor Vehicle Accident) claims. Be sure to let us know prior to your appointment if you will be going through either of these claims.

    Please bring any claim/insurance information (i.e. claim number, policy number) you may have.

  • Per our cancellation policy, if you need to reschedule or cancel your session we require 24 hours advance notice. If you cancel or change your session within 24 hours, we will process a cancellation fee.

  • Patients do not need a referral to be treated by any of our therapists.

    Some private insurance companies do require a doctor’s referral for either physiotherapy, chiropractic and massage therapy. Please check with your private insurance company before making an appointment.
